Tara has been working in PR for over four years now, specializing in Web 2.0, social media and web service clients. She has also managed successful projects for Glam.com and ClubMom.com.

Prior to public relations, Tara's background was on the other side of the media spectrum, as a Features Journalist and Assistant Editor for a daily Connecticut newspaper, Greenwich Time. Her strong writing background and journalism experience is now being employed when writing business communications for clients and when reaching out to reporters and pitching creative news stories.

On top of all this, Tara is also a successful lifestyle blogger commanding a sizable online audience at When Tara Met Blog and has been featured in the The New York Times, LA Times and on About.com. Her blogging knowledge is also leveraged by her clients when communicating with other bloggers and online media.

She received her Master's in Journalism from New York University and her BA in English and Communications from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

She is also an avid reader and enjoys romance books.
